Delta-P vs THC: what's the difference?
“Delta-P THC”: it's one of the most frequent searches from people landing on Golden High. And it makes sense: Delta-P has an effect, it gives a real lift, and the first reflex is to think it's a version of THC. It isn't. Here are the real differences, point by point.
THC and Delta-P: two different things
THC
THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive cannabinoid in cannabis. It's the classic “stoned” feeling, and the reason cannabis is banned: in France, a hemp-based product can only be sold if THC stays below 0.3%.
Delta-P
Delta-P is not a molecule but the name of Golden High's range. The active molecule is CBDX, a cannabinoid that is not, to date, listed by name as a controlled drug in France. The effect doesn't come from THC: it comes from CBDX, which is presented as binding to the CB1 and CB2 receptors far more strongly than CBD. And it is not THCP either, a molecule classified as a controlled drug in France since 3 June 2024 (ANSM decision), which no Golden High product contains.
