HHC banned in France: what really replaced it?
For two years, HHC was the answer to a simple question: how to feel something close to THC while staying within the law. Then, in 2023, the ban came down, in France as in Italy. Since then, the question has come back, and the answer is called Delta-P.
What is HHC (and why people liked it)

Why HHC was banned
In France, the ANSM (the French medicines agency) classified HHC as a controlled drug on 13 June 2023; Italy followed in the summer of 2023. A synthetic psychoactive molecule, effects close to THC, very little safety data. The same fate befell several molecules that arrived afterwards, including THCP.
The “alternatives” to avoid
After the ban, the market filled up with acronyms: HHC-O, HHC-P, THCP. In France, almost all of them followed HHC onto the list of controlled drugs. And the most common trap is “Delta-P (THCP)”: a mix-up that still does the rounds. Delta-P is not THCP. It never has been.
What really replaced HHC: Delta-P
Delta-P is the Golden High range sold in France with less than 0.3% THC, born in 2023 for consumers left orphaned by HHC. The active molecule is CBDX, which is not on the French list of controlled drugs, with THC below 0.3% and lab analyses for every batch.
